Anna and Steve Papa started a family tradition with a small pizzeria and sub shop on Block Island. Baking and cooking has long been a family tradition, starting with Anna’s father, Aldo, and her mother Maria, who helped develop the idea of the Block Island’s first pizzeria. As the family grew, the restaurant grew with it.
Now, Aldo’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant on Block Island has been serving delicious Italian Specialties since 1977! Aldo’s prides itself on our commitment to quality, freshness and customer satisfaction. Aldo’s holds a commitment to providing great tasting Italian and American specialty cuisine for years to come.
Aldo’s offers a number of Italian and seafood favorites all made fresh from only the finest ingredients. Our extensive menu offers a variety of Seafood and Pasta specials, Subs, Salads and Appetizer all made from the highest quality meats, breads and vegetables. In addition to our cuisine, we also have a full bar stocked with all the drinks for you to enjoy with your meal.
Aldo’s has come a long way from just selling pizza and subs. Aldo’s is a family run restaurant. Both of Anna and Steve’s children, Christina and Steve, work in the restaurant to help run it every summer. A true Italian family working together to bring their Italian specialties to visiting families every season.
